Hair Color and Samples Oh My!

My sisters, my mom, and myself will be celebrating a Clairol "House Party". I signed up for this via www.houseparty.com. House party is a website that helps big brand manufacturers promote their products. Most of the time it is a new product, sometimes it's just a normal product, and they're trying to beef up the business which is the case with Clairol. The purpose of this house party was/is to give ourselves make overs with new hair color. Yesterday I received my "party pack" which included 7 coupons for 1 box of free hair color, 8 venus breeze razors, 7 samples of shampoo/conditioner, 7 aussie brand hair sprays, 7 scope mouth washes, 7 crest toothpastes, and some booklets to place is good quality clear party bags. The goodie bags will be given out at the actual party, but the coupons are to be passed out before hand so we're able to make sure nobody has an alergic reaction to the product.

Now, the great thing about this is my mom and sisters are brand loyal, their toothpaste/razors/mouth wash are NOT the brands I was given to add to their bags. So, I'll get to keep those items.. Of course, when their favorite brands go on sale I do pick up enough for their household, so it evens out. I was just thinking about how I would manage with my last bic soliel razor from a few years back(when they first came out, and there was a free coupon for them. Yes, that long ago.). I've not been couponing regularly due to my living arrangements, and leaving the state, so I did not stockpile any new razors. Now, I have 8 of them, these will last long enough to stockpile more free razors, whenever that may be.

I now have all the razors/toothpaste/mouthwash/hair spray I need to last me the rest of the year should a free deal decide not to come around, and I also get my hair colored for free. On top of all of this, if we upload before and after pictures to a special website we're entering for a chance to win a trip down the red carpet in NYC, as well as American Express gift certificates. Who wouldn't love that?
